An American business entrepreneur and construction engineer, has been held for further investigation in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus for his role in the incident that happened on 30 December 2025 living one victim dead and another hospitalized.
The construction engineer whose real name is Anthony Patrick was stopped while doing his construction work in site after the incident had happened . According to witnesses the incident may have occurred from failure to observe standard safety protocols on the site .
In 2022, a law has been placed that whoever is seen carrying out a construction project without life insurance signed with any insurance company and if any life was lost during any incident the contractor or company incharge should be sentenced by the royal court for a combined total of 10 years or charged guilty to pay a fine of $200,000.00.
Chief Officer said the operation demonstrates the "effectiveness" of our strongest deterrent, would be seeking safety in the society
